Our Story · Est. 1998

Family-run,
since 1998.

Lantern Creek started as a handful of campsites in a wooded hollow outside Logan. It is still run by the same family today: 42 wooded acres along the creek, open all year.

Who we are.

Lantern Creek RV Resort is a family-run campground in the Hocking Hills of southeast Ohio. We opened in 1998 and have added to the park a little at a time since: more sites, the cabins, the pool, the pavilion. The family that built it still runs the office, stocks the camp store, and mows the meadow.

We keep things simple. Sites are shaded, the bathhouse is clean, and there is a fire ring and a picnic table at every site. If you need something, the office is the place to ask.

Forty-two acres
of woods
along the creek.

Lantern Creek runs through the property. Eight RV sites back right onto it, the tent meadow sits beside it, and a 1.2-mile trail loops along it from the trailhead behind the meadow. The rest is woods, a fishing pond, and 78 sites spread out under the trees.

Most of our guests come for the hiking. Old Man's Cave in Hocking Hills State Park is about 15 minutes from the park, and Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, Rock House, and Cantwell Cliffs are all part of the same state park.

Lake Logan State Park is about 10 minutes away for swimming, fishing, and boat rentals, and Columbus is about an hour northwest. When you would rather stay put, the pool, the pond, and the creek trail are right here.
